Do you build custom Shopify websites?

Yes. We build custom Shopify websites from scratch, not from a marketplace theme. For most product brands that means headless Shopify: Shopify keeps your products, inventory, checkout, and payments, while we build a custom storefront on top via the Storefront API. For content-led brands or configurators, custom Next.js is the better fit. We decide together during written scoping, based on your stack and revenue.

How much does a custom Shopify website cost?

The Shopify Build is £8,000 to £12,000 (roughly $10,000 to $15,000), four to six weeks, covering custom Shopify development, full migration, brand kit, GEO foundation, on-page SEO, and launch creative. The Launch Sprint Build is £14,000 to £20,000 (roughly $18,000 to $25,000), six to eight weeks, adding pixel and CAPI setup, GA4, Clarity, and a 30-day conversion sprint. A custom Launch Site for a non-ecommerce business is £1,500 to £4,000, one to two weeks. All fixed price, agreed before any work starts.

Do you only build Shopify stores?

Accepted Answer

No. Shopify is the deepest lane, but the Launch Site covers any business that wants a custom site: studios, clinics, trades, professional services, and local companies. £1,500 to £4,000, live in about two weeks, with the same design standard and the same SEO and GEO foundation as the bigger builds.

Shopify theme versus a custom build. Which do I need?

Choose a theme if you are early, testing demand, and a paid template covers your needs. Choose a custom Shopify build when the template is fighting your brand, page speed is costing conversions, your average order value is high enough that small lifts pay for the build, or you need structure that ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews can cite. If you are migrating or rebranding, custom usually pays for itself.

Do you work with US brands, or only UK Shopify stores?

Both. We build custom Shopify websites for premium DTC brands in the UK, US, Canada, and Western Europe from a UK base. The location of the studio does not change the build or the migration. We quote in pounds with a US dollar equivalent so US brands can budget directly, work async-friendly across time zones, and hand the finished store over to you to run from anywhere.

How long does a build take?

A Launch Site is live in one to two weeks. The Shopify Build is four to six weeks from kickoff to launch. The Launch Sprint Build is six to eight weeks, with the extra two weeks covering ads infrastructure setup and the 30-day conversion sprint. Every project gets a clear timeline before kickoff and we stick to it.

Headless Shopify or Next.js. Which one do I need?

For ecommerce brands selling product, headless Shopify is usually the right call: Shopify keeps your products, inventory, checkout, and payments, while we build a custom storefront on top via the Storefront API. For content-led product brands, configurators, or non-Shopify ecommerce, custom Next.js is the better fit. We decide together during written scoping, based on your stack and revenue.

Question 8

What if I'm migrating from WooCommerce or another platform?

Accepted Answer

I handle the entire migration end to end as part of the build. You give me one-time read access to your existing site (or a CSV export). I create the Shopify store on my Partners account, migrate products, customers, and full order history, set up Klaviyo with welcome and abandoned-cart email flows, configure shipping and tax, and transfer ownership to you when ready. You just pop in your card, pick a plan, and you're live. Domain switch from your old host is the final step and I send you the exact records to paste in.

What's included in the launch creative assets?

Accepted Answer

Six to eight static lifestyle and product creative assets plus motion graphics templates your media buyer can fill with real product and customer footage. Designed to match the new brand kit. We do not produce AI-generated UGC video posing as real customer content. That is a legal exposure we will not put a client into.

Do you offer payment plans?

Accepted Answer

Launch Sites and Shopify Builds are split into two payments, fifty percent at kickoff and fifty percent at launch. Launch Sprint Build is three payments: forty percent at kickoff, thirty percent at site launch, thirty percent at sprint end. Talk to us about anything bespoke.

What happens after launch?

Accepted Answer

Post-launch support is included for the first thirty days. After that you can take the Authority Retainer (£1,500 per month, six-month minimum) for two cornerstone articles, ongoing improvements to the site itself, and a brand asset pack each month. Or you can take the build and run it from there yourself. No lock-in either way.
